In a car park today, some kind soul, (may theirs rot in hell) snapped off my aerial, the screw in aerial is fine but it has broken the fixing and grommet. Soper's are getting me the replacement parts, the base and two grommets. My question is, what's the process for changing them over? I assume I'll have to disconnect the battery and, when changed over and reconnected, input the radio codes.

It's going into my local BMW specialist in a week or two for some other minor work, I may just get them to install the aerial parts, but if it's simple for me I may just get on and do it. I do only have full use of one hand, so that may make a difference.

By the way Soper were super helpful and gave me a the forum discount which basically made the two grommets free, great people.
