Thought that I had read on this forum in the past about the replacement of the aerial grommet but cant find it.
Is it possible to replace the grommet with out removing the aerial ? I seem to remember someone on here saying that with the use of fairy liquid it will slide over the larger diameter part of the aerial, don't want to do this and wreck new grommet as looking at the new grommet it just sits in the hole and with aerial through it makes it tighter.
Has any one done this please ?? Geoff

Have not done any more, every time I have to lock and unlock it never works the same, see my recent posts on the subject, but as long as I can lock/unlock in sum way I will leave it for now. Was due to fit new bushes to seats but the mate that was helping has damaged his elbow and has had to have an operation, so that will also have to wait.
