Aerial Antenna Removal Affected Radio Reception?

Hello, fellow Zeds!

The aerial antenna was recently removed to replace the seal with a new one - nothing else was removed. There was a problem with the loom which was rectified by an auto electrician.

The radio reception has been very poor since and it is struggling to give me any radio station.

Any ideas as to why and what can be done to remedy this would be great, please.

Was the aerial changed for a modern stumpy one?

Otherwise it sounds like the wiring has been disturbed in some way. Most likely the ground connection I would think.

No, not changed: has the original aerial. I'll pass your thinking on to the bodywork guy. Thanks for your help...maybe back...you know the drill...hahaha!
