Hi Everybody

Hope all is well. I am considering having an aftermarket stainless steel exhaust fitted to my Z3 I live in Chatham Kent. Does anyone know of any suitable suppliers or have any recommendations. All help appreciated. Thanks

Alot of people have powerflow systems fitted they allow you to choose sound and tail pipe etc .
If you google it it will give you a local supplier

Longlife for me too, try Demand Engineering they are in Stowmarket Suffolk and custom make exhausts and manifolds. Great guys and the best thing is you get a long ride in the Z afterward through the country lanes and motorway. So plenty of time to enjoy the Z with a new release of sound.

In fact there should be a smiley 10 times the size to properly appreciate the day

These guys have been recommended and very helpful over the phone when I called about my Galaxy:

There is also a long life dealer in Ashford (it's on their website). He quoted 350+ vat for a Galaxy V6 which is not bad given its a long car.

Also @Tim beard is based near you and he has an awesome exhaust on his Z3 Cobra, not sure where he got it made but I've tagged him so hopefully he'll be along:

Can anyone tell me what the going rate is for a poweflow system cat back. I was told today by a dealer £700 which I thought was pretty expensive.

£700 is extortionate.

I paid £350 cash about this time last year for the powerflow cat back system I put on my 1.9 Z3. That was done by a dealer in Brighton.

I had a cat back two box system done on my 2.8 for £290 so £700 sound way over the top to me.

Hi Jim , all I can say is you mite be better off going to a specialist exhaust fabricator , my looks and sounds amazing , will Properly Work out more expensive but a much nicer job , look at photos on Forum of my z3 cobra , hope this helps Tim

Thanks Tim, BM Babe. I was looking at Elite Custom Exhausts in Ayr unless anyone has any recommendations from Glasgow or Edinburgh or perhaps Carlisle way?

He is in Falkirk. I had an MX5 and got a custom back box made when mine gave up the ghost, pick the taipipe size, sound, etc, cost me £160 fitted!

Happy to recommend them. I would be back to them if the Z3 had not already come with an stainless exhaust on it.
