Take the fuel pump fuse out and crank it over till the oil pressure light goes out. Then replace it and fire the beast up. OR, if it was mine, I'd just start it (hopefully).

Tony.

I thought it was a case of changing all the fluids, putting lubricant in the bores, turning over by hand … then fire it up !!

Defo change the oil and filter after 2 years standing before starting.

Well… mine was stored for ten years…
What they did before cranking it, they drained the oil and replaced some cheap lidl/aldi, removed the valve cover and sprayed some stinky stuff, removed fuel filter and washed fhe tank with more stinky stuff (the filled it to the brim and then let it flow from the fuel line) and finally added some anti corrosion/cleaner to the radiator. Then they cranked it with the gas fuse off and finally started it.
it blew smoke like a steam train but it eased later on.
when it reached temp and both thermo sensors were on they shut it off and replaced everything with the expensive stuff.
but that was a ten years storage….
