Hi

Wondered if anyone can help? The handle that closes the hood on the passenger side is REALLY stiff to close- but the one on the drivers side is fine. As a result the hood doesn't "sit" squarely, so I'm getting a leak on the drivers side.

Anyone know how to adjust the tension on the hood levers?

Any help appreciated

Hi, I have a similar problem but have a slightly different latching mechanism. I'm trying to find out how to adjust the reach of the hood latching mechanism where is locks in to the windscreen. Where my hood has probably shrunk a little overtime it can be quite hard to lock it in. The mechancism on mine is is an L shaped piece which locks in an upward direcetion in to the screen when you close the latch. thanks Paul

Yours should be the same as the picture / diagram, i had this issue with the new hood being tight the adjuster screw can be a pig and easy to round of the socket. Sometime a bit of heat is required (not for the faint hearted) to loosen the screw after that its an easy fix, Hopefully.

HI Paul, thanks very much for your response. Did you attach a diagram in your post or are you referring to the one in the link above. I seem to have a different latch to that one. Nice pic of your car though :)
