I am purchasing a set of these alloys - used. They are structurally sound with normal wear and tear - curb rash etc. Could I ask if there is anything I should be aware of re: fitting, refurb limitations if any, that I need to take into account? Any information would be welcome.
Alloy wheel size: 17" x 8.5" all round.
Tyre size: rear 245x40x17 front 225x45x17

All good there then they should refurb fine. Just check the inner edges for hair line cracks but a good powder coat should make them good.
Make sure you get the acs centres as they are daft money to replace and gen caps are a totally different size to standard bmw.

Jim - staying with straight metallic silver, if that makes sense.
 
I'm pretty jealous David, love those wheels but I'm going a different route when I can afford the tires. Planned this for a while now and @David did a similar style on his z3 a while back. JIM
