I haven't had a chance to physically check it yet, I'm just going by the fault code I got, I should be able to have a proper look next week thoughIs it a blue one for the 'M' and the Sports ? If so, I got them from Lithuania @ £120 each, and I'm still twitching.
Last time my dash had the abs light my code reader said it was rear right sensor. But going into the live page and driving up the drive I could see that all 4 wheels were showing the correct speed.I haven't had a chance to physically check it yet, I'm just going by the fault code I got, I should be able to have a proper look next week though
Brilliant, thanks for that I'll certainly give it a goLast time my dash had the abs light my code reader said it was rear right sensor. But going into the live page and driving up the drive I could see that all 4 wheels were showing the correct speed.
Disconnected and reconnected the big plug on the abs pump. Sprayed some contact cleaner in there. Went for a drive and the fault is cleared.
As I've said before. Might not fix it. In my case it did. Doesn't cost anything to try.
Now you mention it I have used Febi parts on my Volvo 945 with no issues so that's a good tipI think I am correct in saying that if your Zed has DSC (which it would have printed on the switch on the centre console) it will have blue electrical plugs. If just normal ASC they will be the usual grey electrical coloured plugs.
I recall buying a Febi sensor (grey ASC type) for another Zed and had no issues with it, was about £30.
It had previously been changed by a garage to try and take the ABS light out for it's mot. They failed it still saying it had to be an electrical issue - it turned out to be just the cheap jack sensor they had fitted. The Febi sorted it.
