Abs Fault

Hi, I have a problem with my z3 1999, ive changed the disks ,pads,4 abs sensors , cleaned the abs rings and blead the brakes , swapped the wheels front to back too.
When i come to a stop with light braking the abs comes on , no dashlights . Ive checked everything i can think of, anyone had this problem? Help! ,

You need to pressure bleed the brakes I reckon!

If you mean that the ABS is kicking in, usually you get that when there's a split reluctor ring or similar. That's where I would start looking.

ps. Has there been a wheel bearing changed recently?
pps. When you say that no dash lights are on, that says that the ABS is working normally, so I think still wheel speed sensor or ring.

Hi, looks like it was indeed a reluctor ring, ive changed the rears and its now sorted, thanks

Bit worried about swapping wheels front to back, the rears are wider than the front, not by much but enough to upset it I would think.

You can't really swap front to rear when you have staggered wheels only when all 4 same size with same size tyres

Would have zero effect on this particular fault anyway.

Just in the process of sorting my abs system, took out the abs sensors and the rings look a bit hackie what's the best way of cleaning them as I don't fancy scraping them with a screwdriver. Is there some spray cleaner that someone may know about thanks in anticipation
