Help and advise gents and ladies please

Been putting off this job all summer!

This happened after I got a nearside rear puncture,

Have put it on my basic code reader and this is what I get

5D91 Wheel speed sensor front left extrapolation

5E1E CAN Timeout LWS

5D93 Wheel speed sensor front left start recognition v-comparison

5E43 Steering angle sensor internal (I can see values change when I spin the steering wheel)

Unable to clear faults with my reader.

Nearside front abs sensor voltages and resistance read if hub spun at sensor the same as OSF sensor.

Car had a new NSF wishbone replaced for MOT.
So the story continues, have had a BMW indy have a look on my behalf he ran full diags ABS pump purge pressure valves, DSC steering angle sensor reset etc and has come to the conclusion its either the ABS sensor LHS front or wiring to X18303 module.

I don't have an issue chasing/ continuity checking wires but not sure of the modules location, is it under the abs gubbins under brake reservoir?
Also not 100% sure its just the ABS sensor gone bad but have rounded off the allen key holding it to hub (fool I know) advise please how to remove or maybe is it a rusty sensor ring?
The car is a 2002 2.2 later model with the DSC system and blue connector ABS sensors

Thanks Keith

Worth a try cleaning the reluctor ring, some say it cured their cars problem. Not uncommon to round out an Allen screw (hateful things) but even if it had come out the sensor will most likely need to be drilled/broken out of the hub.

Change the front left sensor. After applying liberal amounts of your favorite penetrating oil try gripping the head of the bolt with a set of mole grips.

It's been soaking a while might try the cold treatment rather than heat as would like to try saving old sensor

Will give this a bash Tony, any idea if I'm in the right area regarding the connector for continuity testing?
Cheers Keith

Just a shot in the dark you said it happened after a picture, did you change the tires as a pair? If you changed just the punctured one there might be a difference in diameters maybe it's within tolerance but maybe not

So tonight it was with dread I started looking at my issue, thought I would look for the connector block under the brake fluid reservoir, OMG wish I hadn't as totally frightened myself at How do I get to that?.
Its now dark so with sad face went indoors to look at Wheel sensor another day and pray to the motoring gods its a fault at that end.
To be continued!

Good idea Mario and had crossed my mind but both tyres were a little worn so replaced together.

Hi sorry Keith, only just seen this. Can't help with tracing the wiring. Does anyone have a wiring diagram ?

Tony.
