A trip back in time

We went out for a drive in the Zed at the weekend and ventured deep into rural Devon. On our way back very near to the Devon / Cornwall border we drove through a little hamlet called Chapmans Well.

There is an old disused garage that houses a couple of old motoring relics.

I stopped to get some photo's but true to form my phone battery was dead.

When I got home I did an internet search because I was certain someone would have posted some pics as this place hasn't seen any life for donkey's years.

There is house immediately behind the garage that is lived in. There are half a dozen or so camper vans lined up as if they are for sale.

Chapmans Well is between Launceston and Holsworthy

I live quite close to this garage, It appears the guy has started working on some of the vehicles in the last few weeks

Looks like TR3 needs a lot of TLC, the tin worm is evident on every panel. A car like that could become a lifetime ambition to complete.
