Some time ago I had to remove both A Pillar Trims but have had an issue with putting them back. They don't seem to 'snap' back into position at the top to create that almost seamless snug fit and stick out a little bit at the top. I am scared of breaking or bending the metal tab that holds them in at the top.

Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it or am I being a big baby and need to push them in a lot harder or something?

Cheers.

I took the o/s one off to splice into the interior light wiring to power my led footwell lights and I had real trouble getting the trim back on and then crack... one of the lugs broke off. I've managed to get hold of a replacement but been reluctant to fit it in case the same thing happens.. hopefully someone who knows the knack / technique will respond to your post and then I'll give it another go lol!!

I removed an A pillar panel and found clips online but they do not secure into the holes. Is there a second component, another small clip that fits in the hole then the other clips locks into that? It's so hard to find info online.
