A new tool.

Got this tool and it arrived yesterday. I need it for building the lid on my induction hear shield. It installs blind threaded nut inserts. It come with 4 sized adapters for 4,5,6,and 8mm. threads. I fitted one in a grease can lid just to try it.

Ohhh, looks good.

Can think of a couple of jobs I could use that for.

The nutserts or rivnuts come in aluminium, steel and stainless steel. I think you might need the long handled type of tool to fit the larger sizes in steel.

Don't make it look too good Tony, It will be something else i didn't realise i needed. Just got replacement struts for the boot lid so thinking about rear spoilers?

Quite similar to the metal, expanding brolly bolts I use on stud walls for securing rad brackets.

Ha,ha, fair comment Ian. Looks as though it's the same one you spotted anyway mate, also complete with an English manual.
When I tried it I had worked out that the "stop" needed adjusting for each application.
