Hi Guys, A must for all Zedders living in England, especially this year!!!

Worried about Mora during overnight stays in torrential rain, we discovered this cover on .net and bought it from ebay :-ss

It is made of extremely thick durable material, very similar to the hood fabric. It is very neat in appearance and well made, with a magnetic tape that lightly adhers to the bodywork. The fit is good as it is made especially for a Z3. :ymapplause: (We will get one of the EAC Z4 owners to try it on, to see if it will also fit a Z4 :bulb )

Here are the pics for you.

Neatly finished piping round the edge.

The last picture is of the inside showing the magnetic strip round the edge.

Can recommend this as a purchase :-bd

looks like its made of decent stuff quick and easy to put on :-bd

It was £44.99 + £11.88 Postage, Stevie, It is quite heavy quality, so postage amount not surprising! :D

Looks ok but I imagine that you have to make sure the paint work is cleaned before you fix the magnetic strips to it otherwise it is going to get debris on it and cause scratching to the paint.

The magnetic attraction is so light, and the magnetic tape isn't actually on the very edge of the cover, if you look at the pics and the tape is made of the same material as the magnetic stone guards. :-bd

You might need to bring it Sunday if you bring the zed!!

My worry was that the wind will get under the fabric and move it about causing scratching as the magnets travel over the surface of the paint! The stone guards don't tend to move too much.

I send you EnthuZiaZT many thanks for sending me pictures of the Buzztopz roof cover- without them I wouldn't have ordered - wanted to be sure it was any good...
I got mine the other day - fits really well and I was surprised about how fast I got it - Richard had sent it monday and it arrived wednesday at my work.

Small advice to everyone: Make sure you cover the rear window with a towel, original BMW Blanket or whatever you want to - the inside can scratch the plastic window easily...

:steer2) Have a nice weekend!

Jamezee, we have only had ours on in the garage so far, but 'Walter05' wrote on .net under 'Soft Top Protective Covers' that he lives in the Peak District and his fitted perfectly and withstood all the recent high winds and rain, is very pleased and highly recommends it! :)

We will bring to Zed fest, only for people to see it! HOPEFULLY NOT BECAUSE WE WILL NEED IT!!!! :rain(

Thanks for the tip, Ferdinand, will do. It doesn't take a lot to scratch the plastic, so will be careful, just in case! :-ss

I am sure it will be fine but you just have to be careful with anything magnetic sticking to the paint as you well know a bit of grit underneath and scratches will appear :(

I would love to have a look at it at the zedfest but I am not attending :(
