Hi all. Been a while - how're we doing? All well I hope?

It's been a hell of a year. And then that dreaded call, a few hours ago, informing me my Zed's failed her MOT. Fantastic.

If any of you Shropshire folks spot a black-and-red Zed looking sorry for herself these next few days, give us a wave. There are a few of you about!

Cheers, folks. Not yet had the call back regarding costs, but the failures don't fill me with joy...

Hood catch issues, need a new N/S/F ball joint, the MIL apparently lit during the test; parking brake shoes need tightening (mere weeks after Kwik Fit replaced them) aaand N/S/F position lamp is a dud.

What's that saying? "It never rains..."

MOT passed - phew!

Another Zed to add to the list of "cars that had an intermittent MIL, currently fixed with a new intake boot, and suspected MAF on the way out".

Here's hoping she runs a little leaner now. 310 miles from a full tank to fuel lamp on was my PB pre-MOT.
