I honestly thought I was further back when I parked. Another 5mm and that sickening crunching sound was gonna happen...

Seriously I've only lowered the damn thing 15mm over the standard Sport suspension. I have to crawl over every damned speed bump in the area. I stupidly drove down Kiln Lane in Newbury which has about 25 of them, I could hear the van driver behind grinding his teeth. I think he may have stopped and had a picnic at one point...

I drove on to my sisters driveway this evening, and could hear the underneath dragging on the entrance where it dips down from the pavement. Stopped halfway as it just wasn't gonna happen, then had to reverse back out again and park down the road. Not very nice noises were made.

Still love the bloody thing though :D. Just incredibly pleased I didn't go with the 40mm drop springs :bag:

And that's why I probably won't be fitting a chin splitter, which is a bugger cos it would've looked the dog's !:(

That's what happens when I go into work through the "in" gate Gaz, only option form me is to ignore the signage and go in and out the "out" gate. There aren't that many speed humps in and around Lincoln. Worse places are the shopping outlets like Asda, Next etc. for the shrubs in the parking lots which have high kerbs around them. Had similar issues when I fitted the flippers on my Z3 too especially in Morrison's car park where it only just cleared the kerbs.

I can't enter local coop whatsoever on zed. They have very sharp speedbreaker which I hit by something underneath the car regardless how slow I go :(

I took the Zed up to Yorkshire last week. Went over a sleeping policeman in the office carpark a tad enthusiastically and it crashed down and bottomed out somewhere in the middle of the car. :(
It's a one way carpark around the offices. No way of avoiding it. The upside is it could have been a whole lot worse with lowered suspension.
