So I’ve been hoarding a lot of Z3 parts over the years.
A change of address means no storage so I need to let go of a lot of stuff.

I’ll get round to doing a full listing with pics and prices but putting this out there in the meantime, especially of someone can take all or most of the stuff:

Most of it came from a Scottish low mileage 1998 Z3 2.8, single vanos with just 50k miles on the clock.
Very nice car and looked perfect cosmetically and drove beautifully.
It was bought by a fellow forum member but what he’d not banked on was it being a Scottish car rusting from the inside out (standing around makes it worse).
The was no rust on the panels but the structural points were shot, so I bought it and broke it as spares for mine.

In no particular order:
  • Engine - M52B28 single vanos 50k miles
  • 5 speed ZF gearbox from this 2.8
  • 1. LSD Torsen diff from a 2.8 50k miles
  • 2. LSD Torsen diff from a 2.8 130k miles (my old diff)
  • Roll hoop kits (hoops plus all plastics)
  • Full interior (seats regular non sport, Doorcards centre console and dash)
  • Electrical - ECU, relays and bits
  • body panels - Atlanta blue:
  • Doors
  • Bonnet
  • Bootlid
  • Headlights (yellow lenses)
  • 2.2 sport front bumper in grey (needs paint)
  • M sport airbag wheel
  • Various electrical bit like dash clusters, switches stalks etc.

Wheels - I’ve built up a ridiculous amount of wheels too that need to go as well:

Wheels

  • Style 32 Deep dish e39 staggered set 8j and 9j 17” - almost new tyres (Hankook Ventus v12) - needs full refurb
  • Racing Dynamics 5 spokes 8j (genuine)- touching up needed
  • M4 replicas in 17inch. Ok as is but I was going to going go shadow chrome with them.
  • Style 68 4 x rears 8,5 (very light 9,5kg)- mixed colours, need refurb, bought to make a full set of lightweight track wheels and power coat in a ‘track’ colour.

I’ve seen all the messages for various bits - please bear with me - will get back to everyone later in the week / weekend.
Thanks.

Hi Dino, Are all Style 68s very light, or are yours special? ( I’ve not long bought a set from Scooblitz purely on the looks, so if they’ve lightweight too I guess that’s a bonus 😀 )

They are all light as far I know.
Pretty obvious when you pick one up compared to another wheel - online says around 9,5kg.
They look cool too

I’ve just the one left (50k miles) and getting back to people in order of enquiry as there is a queue forming, I’ll give it a day more then let you know if not sold.
It’s the 3.15 ratio from a 2.8

Just realised you said you have a 2.0…I have the engine and gearbox from the same 2.8 with 50k miles, what not swap the lot and make it a 2.8 😁

Ah that’s a shame.
You need an auto box diff as those are super short aren’t they? (but not LSD).
Guess you could fit a quaife or gripper plates diff - when I priced it up a few years ago they were over £1k without the case etc though…and the clutch pack LSD need maintenance too….going fast on track gets £££🤦🏻‍♂️
