A little reminder

I know I dont contribute much to this forum , but , I would like to kindly remind people to tell your loved ones that you do indeed love them , give them a hug whenever you can or even a phone call , it can mean the world to someone . I lost my 27 year old son last week , I had a great relationship with him and he knew exactly how I felt about him and his brother . It doesnt make his passing any better for me but nothing was left on the table so to speak . I was with him when he took his first breath and unfortunately , his last . The Good Lord let me have him for 27 years and for that I am extremely grateful . I ask that you keep me in your prayers cause Im telling you , this is tough . Thank you all very much

My friend I can imagine how you must be feeling right now. We lost our youngest daughter to Leukeamia in 1994. She was only fIve and a half years old and had battled that horrid disease for 2 years. Diagnosed only 4 days before Christmas 1992 and she passed 3 weeks before Christmas 1994. I can only tell you it does get easier to live with. She had been in a come for nearly a week before that last Sunday morning but she open her eyes to say goodbye to me and Shirl as she took her last breath.

My condolences to you all on this thread, have been in same position with the loss of our daughter when she was 24, a special needs girl all her life never a day without her in our thoughts.
