A gremlin in my roof

I am new to the Forum (today) I have owned my E85 for a couple of months and it’s fair to say my mechanical knowledge is very limited , luckily I know a few people who “can” . Stumped a bit though with a roof that goes down but will not close, just seems as though it does not have enough oomph!!
The motor has been relocated by the Zed shed, and I am taking it back to them in a couple of weeks time as it was suggested I need a new pump. However someone at Zed fest yesterday suggested it just needed some hydraulic fluid
Thoughts welcome??

See what the shed finds they have the hands on experience, they’ll do the cheapest option repair.
