A great weekend.

Just got back after a great couple of days.
Yesterday we went down to stow ont wold a d boulton on water. Did the tourist bit for mrs M. Actually a great place for a wander .Then made our way to Bridgend .
Met up with zedwheels and the bmw group for a chat and perv a few bm's..Nice to catch up with Brian again see you on Billz cruze mate.However we decided not to do brekki and went off on our ownsome to do a topgear road over the black mountains.That was great.then onto thr elan valley to see tbe dams.met a bunch of vintage car enthusiasts out for a 2 day meet.then home via the hellfire pass to Bala .520 mls pure pleasure

Is this the Dam that Hammond "drove" that old Land Rover up on Top Gear Mozz? Great pictures mate, thanks for posting. I like that red Z4 M Coupe too.

What a great few days you've had Moz,can't go wrong with Wales .

Its been hard watching everyone out enjoying the weather. I managed two brief highlights at the start of a weekend of many motorway miles, phone calls and worries.

On Friday I collected a set of 108's - that was after a six hour cross country drive around the mess that was the M6 in Staffordshire and after an earlier momentary lapse of concentration leading to a major and expensive cock-up.
Shortly after collecting the wheels I managed 30 minutes photographing sunsets. Am sure many will know where this is.

Despite the problems, these are worth sharing (even with no cars).

Meant to visit a couple more but ran outa time.stopped at a biker cafe just after the black mountain rd an got chatting .and the zed had a few admirers.then when we got to the elan valley spent ages chatting to the vintage car group.and few sheep popped there heads out to greet us

That would be telling wouldn't it. But, in the overall scheme of things this weekend a mere pimple on the face by comparison. It was soon rectified for a small king's ransom. Much bigger panics elsewhere (again, but bigger...). Hopefully we're out the other side now thanks to a very astute A&E consultant.
