To be honest, I slowly swept them into a box with a dustpan and brush! They are quite docile when swarming. Then wrapped the whole lot in a towel and put it into the car and drove them home.

I live in the sticks and the wife and I have often talked about bee keeping, I must get into it one day
It is very satisfying to do and you are not only doing your bit for nature, you get honey as well.

They sell bees in our local shop. I went in yesterday and there was one in the window

Someone does it local to me honey is great plus has the benefit of hay fever control hardly ever have to use meds.
