Met the owner of Exocet cars at Thruxton - they were there racing his turbo 270bhp 700kg Mx5 based kit car the day bride.

Apparently more forgiving than a caterham style car as it uses the MX5 track and of course brilliant suspension l.
It’s not a looker but coming in at 10k or less for a fully built track car that has plenty of parts / tuning availability of the MX5 (or even RX8 if you like) it’s a interesting proposition.
