Met up with Bazza/Jan, Maxine/Alan, Dave/Pauline at the Stonehenge visitor centre, our first cruise this year so good to catch up with old friends. We headed off using routes across the Military plain. A coffee stop for a good chat, before going on to the stones at Avebury, driving into Marlborough and "The Who'd have thought it" for lunch. The weather was very kind to us, having almost cancelled as the forecast was heavy rain all day we were able to enjoy some sunshine and open tops. Photos soon to follow.

:thankyou:Jack & Jean for organising a great day out. A fantastic selection of roads, from dead straight to twisty turny, over the plain and through woodland. As you said it was good to catch up. My photos are still in my camera so I'll post them later. Good roads, good company, good food and good weather, what else do you want for a pensioners day out;)

Thanks to Jack & Jean for organising a great cruise. It was good to meet up with friends again. It was also enlightening to see the military on their exercise and how Jack arranged the fly pass of the heavy transport aircraft remains a mystery. Maxine was particularly pleased with that. Overall we covered 178 miles. It was really great to be out in the Z again (first run this year). It got filthy but clean again now. I liked the sign inside of the portaloo on Salisbury Plain

The cruise itself was great, about 70 miles...plus up and down to @Bazza ;), so about 450 in total:thumbsup:
