Hi all. I’ve stumbled across this Facebook group where people help kids who can’t afford fancy car hire for proms. Folk do prom rides for free where they choose to help out. Currently the group has a lot of Mustangs so a few more Z’s are needed to balance things a bit. The group is:

Possibly the creepiest and worst idea I have ever heard.
I can just see the headline:
"50-something man offers rides to 16/18 year old strangers in his 2 seater convertible".

It's Ok, anyway, Labour are in power now so they will pay for car hire for these 'poor kids', or probably buy them a limo each.

Done quite a few over the years, and doing another on Wednesday.

I like the fact if the young person has the initiative and courage to actually ask. Never taken any payment, and when been given fuel costs, I give it back to the young person for their evening. Whats not to like helping a youngster on their special day
