Woke up to a surprise dusting of snow this morning...nothing was forecast here until Thursday.

2 inches / 5cm (or 50mm if you want to make it sound like a lot) - of fresh snow and no ice made it very simple to brush off the cars (at 7:30am).

Absolutely baltic in the frozen North today. Enough snow to stop me riding my motorbike to work, the roads were fine but not even Evil Kneval was getting up the farm track so had to suffer the abject misery of the train :arghh:
