Hi guys
I've lost my garage here in Clifton, Bristol and rather than have the car on the street I am going to reluctantly let it go.
I have it on auto trader at £4.5k.
So briefly here it is, 99' 2.8.
88k miles.
Full history, main dealer to 74k. 10 stamps in the book.
Just 2 previous owners prior to myself, the last for 14 years.
Every mot, all dealer books and the bill of sale from the first owner. Lots of receipts.
Double VANOS version.
Always garaged and I know has been gently used.
Very nice car.
Hard top included. Lots of pics. Pm me for more information. IMG_1570.JPGIMG_1496.JPG

Lovely Zed. Good luck with the sale @Paulro
Thanks Philip.
Yes, it's a really nice car, lightly used.
The gearbox felt a but mushy when I bought it but I had the oil changed and its great now.
I'm sure that everyone looking for these cars will see it advertised elsewhere but it would be nice to keep tabs on it via a member here.

Do you think I've priced it too high at £4500?
I've not had a call, question or offer.
I can see it is near bottom priced 3.0's and it's a mk1 but I do think they could be collectible in the future.
Maybe it should be £4000.
It's a very good car, lots of history with a hard top too.
I'd appreciate your thoughts.
Some seem to have attracted bids when they are £6990!

Have been looking at prices a lot recently, yours seems a fair price for a nice car. If your looking to reduce it, £3995 always looks better!

Good luck.

I recon it would get snapped up at 3600 without the roof and sell it seperate for 900

I think £3995 and sell the hardtop seperate. You may just come out on top. ;)

Everyone on here has 1/2/3/4 Zeds per household already...some are going for every colour and model made I think :)
is it advertised on a non Z hoarders site like classic cars, auto trader and eBay (classifieds not auction)?

Sold 3.5k without hardtop or fixing kit.
It's a lovely car. Full history, well looked after.
Interesting that with all the hype of good examples making amazing money, I had not one call out of 140 views at £4500 inc h/top and only one at £3.6k without. This was on auto trader.
I'll put the hardtop, recently repainted, kit for sale soon

Nice that it sold and you should have no problem selling the HT with the full kit for a good price. Congrats, JIM

But 3,5k without hardtop is the same price as 4,5k with hardtop so you got your asking price, but two sales I guess. It's a lovely looking car but the beige dash can take off value/add value depending on the buyer ;)

It's similar to what I paid for mine 6yrs ago so prices have recovered and are on the up - not many 1999 model BMW's fetch more the 2k these days, you can get about 4 x 7 series for what you got for 1 x Z3!

Hard tops are funny things. With the car don't add much but separately with the OEM fitting kit it's 1k all day.
