Can anyone fathom how panel screws can be nearly £1.80each !! ?... I was going to replace mine but it'll be cheaper to plate them !

thank you mate, but I've got plenty of them. Just very messy, I'll wire wheel them and clean them up..can't believe they're that expensive!

thanks @colb ...it does seem the 15mm ones aren't as popular as the 18mm washer ones..there's dozens of those online with an 18mm or 22mm shank, but getting 15mm washer with 15mm shank is a bit of a mission. I'm happy to clean mine up and paint them but it's a bit of a faff that's all, me being lazy.

Most of mine were pretty rusty and even if I'd cleaned them up they'd have looked pitted. I just wanted nice 8mm hex head with a 15mm washer for the original look. The 3mm longer thread that I can't see didn't worry me.

cheers @Duncodin .. ok if the longer shank didn't hit or scratch anything behind then maybe it's a way to go..pennies at the moment are being poured into the front suspension 😀

Have used the stainless 18mm hex screws on the under tray with suitable sized stainless washers, the extra length doesn't hit anything, replaced the wing splash panel fixings around the wheel arches on my previous 2.5 as well. They are also a good replacement for the Z3 sill panels along the lower edge.
