I folks, my 98 z3 has tired badges on the gill plates, I have struggled to find any reasonably priced 78mm badges, can anyone advise where I can get a couple?

You can get these from eBay but they'll be a couple of mm larger and need fixing on with double sided 3M tape (or other brand) as the pins may not line up. But size wise you can't see the difference.

I replaced one of my gill badges a couple of months ago; £39.53 from Sopers (delivered). Fitted perfectly and should last another 25 years!! :)

I would always get badges from BMW, not cheap but they will fit correctly and last without fading.

Non genuine bmw badges definitely do not last any decent length of time in my experience.
Genuine bmw one aren't cheap but as said will last ten times longer.

Thanks folks, I know the OEM ones are generally better quality £40 for a badge is fair enough for a show car but a bit steep for my old runabout. I found some cheap Chinese copies, I will let you know how they look.
