7 weeks

Hope you get better too @Antm72 :p
I'll be back at work soon :)
Hopefully ;)

I would love to relax out in the garden in my new swing chair. Garden, what garden!!!!. @Macca is in the process of remodelling the garden as a double garage and driveway. My new swing chair is in the hall because if we put it outside it will be just be one more thing to move. At the moment we have heaps dotted around, gravel reclaimed from pathways, soil after turf was taken up, and as usual the stuff that you don't quite know where to put.. It is going to be a long job and will be worth it in the end.

It's amazing that when your working, you think you would love all that time off, but when you have been off a while all you want to do is get back to work. I've been off for just over 6 months now, 3 of which I've been out of hospital and it driving me mad. Especially after I have finally been feeling pretty good for the last 3 or 4 weeks. Back to work on Tuesday though, only light duties and short hours but no doubt this time next week I'll be wishing I hadn't gone back!

Get well soon @Shelly, you will soon be back :)

Thank you @g8jka :p

Hope your work goes well on Tuesday :)
As @MaryMac says don't push yourself ;)

Alan is now building his shed Mary ........ :p
It is very big it's about the size of our lounge ;)
We will start doing the garden next year :)
At least the bungalow is finished now ;)

That's a good sign @ g8jka with a return to work but as Mary says be cautious about what and for how long you work at something. It may feel good at the time but a day or two later not so much. JIM

Been there and done that after a heart op. Don't be pressured into doing too much. I nearly was, until I thought, " Woah, hold on I was given a second chance".

Tony.

When @Macca went in on short hours after his heart attack, his bosses kept at him to 'just do this, before you go'. Because he had no outward physical signs, they 'forgot' that he wasn't fully fit.

Yes that's very true Mary :p
We should only do what we can :)

Like Alan has said to me @MaryMac ......... :p
Because my scar is healing well on the outside :)
You don't know what the inside is healing like ;)

Alan is a wise man to point that out @Shelly. We can't always see the problem area, as in mental illness, because of there being no outward signs. @Zeti and I are discussing this very thing. You may well be healed on the outside but as I imagine there was deep penetration to remove your problem there are lots of very sensitive parts internally which take more time to heal and the healing does continue long after the surface area has been sealed of from the germ laden atmosphere. I wish you all the best as we all do and hope for a quick recovery back to your normally hectic life. JIM

Thank you Jim @oldcarman :p
Hopefully be back to as you say my hectic normal life soon ;)

Just found this, Shelly, sorry we were away at Beaulieu over the weekend, so didn't spot it.:(

It sounds like you were up on your feet too early, natures way of your body letting you know that it is not ready to resume normal activities yet!!!
Far better to wait it out for just a little longer in order to completely recover, you've got the rest of your life to do whatever you want to do, Shelly, but you need a healthy, fit body with everything functioning properly in order to do it!! Resting is a priority, we need you to be back on your feet again, but not at all costs!
