6 month hell almost over.

Glad you're well and truly on the mend , and I hope the Z doesn't get too grumpy being woken from hibernation. After having a non BMW as my first car where the handbrake could seize overnight I always park in gear , much to the annoyance of her indoors when she forgets to dip the clutch.

I do feel for you it must of been a pain having to rely on people for lifts :)

Noisy Tony with medium pressure on the pedal. Hard it’s fine soft it’s fine, not a high pictched squeak but more a loud hum, annoying.
When I had it serviced last year they said they were fine and they cleaned it up about and the noise went away but it’s back now :-(

Great to hear you’re going to be mobile again. Not just the car seizing you should worry about. Take it easy the first few miles. While it’s like riding a bike, your senses will be a little out of tune. Likely to be an hour or so before you can be sure you’ve got your eye back in.
