Had a former Z3 owner bring his 318D in for an oil and filters change, what a nightmare that turned out to be.
Oil change went really well just like a Z3 or Z4 but when it came to putting a new air filter in that was a nightmare. The amount of plastic covers and top scuttle and brace bar that had to be removed just to get at the filter was a nightmare. Getting it correctly seated and its fixing bolts back in, once the filter was changed also tested our patience. Full scan revealed 12 &3 glow plugs were at fault so that's a job for the future as the inlet manifold has to come off before you can see the plugs.
