Hi Ryan, welcome from me temporarily in Orlando Fla. My car is an every day car but my Z3 used to be wrapped up for the winter I wouldn't do it now. Use it next year through the cooler weather.

Tony.

Only 1 second slower than the 2.8 but with the sport package on mine, it just looks better overall.
How?.................A Z3 is a Z3 is a Z3..............Surely. Okay, it's an Ass lift body, but apart from that, how does it look better overall? You can have a 2.8 with both body styles!

( A 2.8 is only 1 second slower than a Z3M!)

Sport pack on my Z3 has the different front bumper, different lower grill and the standard alloys are nicer I think. Then inside you got sports seats the light up gear knob and the brushed aliminium trim. Just think for a standard package it’s a better looking car to start with.

Of course, that's all subjective really!...... On a 2.8 you got the heated sports seats, and if you prefer the aluminium trim, fine. I guess the illuminated gear stick knob is very important bling to some people, but really, does it make the car look better? Everyone's preferences are different of course, and everybody has different ideas as to what 'looks better!'
Enjoy your Z3 Ryan.
All the best.
