I took my old mate Ken and his car for MOT where I used to work this morning. We left and walked round to Marcy Ds near to the University and I bought him breakfast.
The Fosse Dyke which enters the Trent at Torksey Lock viewed from the Uni bridge.

As we walked back over the Uni bridge I saw a “blacked out” E89, a Z3 in silver going up The Avenue and lastly on Carholme Rd. as we left town an E85 top down in that rare Sterling Grey. Also a Bentley with the top down too.

My ex-wife's family were from Lincoln, such a lovely place.
Is that taken near the Glory Hole?

No not really, this one however is on the Brayfordside looking towards " The Glory Hole" (yes, there is such a place).

From here next to the Barge restaurant, follow the Riverside all the way to the old stone steps at the Glory Hole which leads you onto the pedestrianised part of the High St.
This is the Barge Restaurant and patio.
