Saw a 3.0i on Autotrader and wondered how much extra the sport version would cost if anything. O%, 5%, 10% etc. Also got to thinking what the extra price when new might have been. Anyone know. Thanks.
3.0i verses 3.0i Sport Price Difference

Both the 2.2i and 3.0i were available as a factory Sport model. Lowered suspension (15mm), style 78 alloys, Sport seats, brushed alloy centre console and a few other bits.
You could spec the base models up from the individual catalog if you wanted though. Really don't know the price difference between Sport and non-Sport models at the time.

Correct Gaz. Mine had the sports pack but had the black consul instead of the brushed steal. Even when you got the sports pack you could still adjust it to suit.
Oooh, that would be the first Sport model I've seen that didn't have the aluminium console. But back then as you say you could chop and change from the accessories/Individual catalog like mad.
