245 Style wheels

I’ve been offered a set of 245 style wheels, 17x8J ET20, are they suitable for my 2.8 or is the 8” on the front too wide, they are from a G30 5 Series will the offset be comparable?

Your offset can vary from 39 to 43 for 8.5 and 43 to 48 for 7 inch wheels.

I'm running with style 276 from an E89 17" with ET29 offset. I have 20mm spacers on the rear. Both the rear and fronts are probably a couple of mm proud of the arches. Just right in my opinion. Your ET20 will stick out 9mm further than mine on the front but your rears will be within your arches
