No this is not an ownership thread, I'm not calling it that, but it is where I will record activities associated to the 21st Zed I have owned 😉

So after an uneventful 200+ mile drive back from the south coast yesterday where the car averaged 35MPG I thought I'd get out this morning for something a little more interesting

To be fair the seller was from the Z4Forum and did offer me a cuppa but it was a bit of trek that one. Took me 2 hours from Sheffield to St Pancras then 1h40m to get from Waterloo to Fareham - at least it gave me time to familiarise myself with the car on the way home even if it is my 3rd E86.

Still would have been nice to come and see your Z3 - not seen Siena Red one in person before

Love it. Are those original wheels? Never seen an E86 on those.

Yes most E86's, or at least the Sport versions, tend to have the 108's or the 135's.

This one was originally supplied with the 108's but I'm not a big fan of those - the refurb cost is horrendous with them being split rims.

These are OEM Style 32's but weren't offered on the E86 - they are the exact same spec as the 108's and 135's but we're only offered on the E46.

However, the 32's were available for the Z3 but not in 18" only 17"

Saw this one for sale. Been looking at E86s myself.

Why even bother telling the dvla you own it at this rate. It'll be gone next week.

Quick aerial grommet repair after a trip to Synter is it?

Aerial grommet is fine on this one but it does have the stubby - fortunately it came with the original whippy so I might swap it back 👍
