I'm starting to look at all the images which have been uploaded over the past months with an eye to 2016 calendar selection. I've got a few of my favourites listed down already, but really want to see what else you have hidden, or I just haven't noticed. You may also have been browsing through the media gallery and been impressed by something that's been uploaded.

I've been put on to a different calendar supplier this year (thank you Chipper3) so we should be able to produce something different to the previous three years!

So please use this thread to post up some additional images for me to consider, or link to images in the media gallery which you couldn't live without on your office/kitchen/garage wall next year.

NOTE: The quality of the image file is as important as the composition of the picture. There are some notes taken from the suppliers website below to explain it a bit better. Last year we did manage to use some taken on mobile phones! It may be an image file is not adequate for printing, so I may ask for a file but not be able to use it in the final calendar. So please don't get too excited if I ask for an image in case I can't actually use it...

"As with all printing, the bigger and better quality picture you can provide us with the better quality will come out. All images are required in HIGH-RES for best results - that would be an image that is large in file size or DPI - images should be supplied at 300dpi at 100% of their intended print size.

Usually, unless taken at the very highest camera setting, photos taken on a mobile phone are not the greatest of quality - an 8MB camera at its highest setting will be great, a 3MB camera at medium setting will probably not have the best quality."

I think we should vote on them all
I get what you are saying Mark, but I honestly can't think of a way we could even organise that. I want people to have a say in whats included which is why I put this thread up.

I suspect there will be a few wanting Silverstone meet pics.

Obviously these weren't taken by me but I think one should be a serious contender (suitably cropped), not because of my car but because of the one you can see behind me. I will post a separate thread later about the moving service for Ash which I went to this afternoon.

This is relating to the style of calendar Gaz, we always have one on the fridge in the kitchen but it needs to have some space for writing small notes, memo's etc. I miss that on the current one. Just wondering if anyone else felt the same way? Thanks,

Tony.

If people would like to discuss this as well although I'm not sure we will get a consensus either way. Some like big pictures some like the extra space. There are options, which I'll show 2 styles below to give people an idea of what could be done.

I could maybe order a certain number of each, but would need to be a minimum of 25 per style. We sold 25 calendars last year, but the membership has grown considerably so I think we would probably sell enough to accommodate 2 different styles.

There is now a poll on the first page so I can gauge whether there is enough call for both types. Obviously it's a large financial outlay if I order 25 of one style and only 10 sell ;)

Absolutely mate, I appreciate that. Just thought it was better to raise the point now rather than later. Of the two above the top one gets my vote. Now I'll go and make it official.;)
