iam terry 72 still ride motorbikes and drive sports car i just need some help with my z4

air bag light on code reader said needs a seat belt pre tensioner fitted one light was put out then came back on / warning light comes on when starting car and it does not change gear if i turn off restart it normally goes out and drives fine even long trips gearbox works fine / steering sticky in straight line i think it needs new motor but also does not handle well even after fitting both new lower arms and drop links had tracking done and all tyres are good no signs of accident damage so seems to have two steering faults / lastly previouse owner fitted new roof motor and moved it to the boot but roof dont work the car is in lovely condition only 80000 miles iam 72 oap retired not made of money just wish i could give the car to someone to sort these problems out

Hi Terry, Send a PM to @Lee at the ZedShed, he knows how to adjust the electronic steering on the Z4. May well cure your “other” steering issues. Re the air bag light, what fault codes are coming up. Were all “historic”codes cleared? and if so which have come back?
Any codes showing regarding roof issues?
