My E85 2004 3.0 Semi-Automatic
!
Unfortunately because I don’t use it much the handbrake and subsequent brakes have failed as follows.
MOT FAILED ON THE FOLLOWING
In my ownership it’s had the following:
New radiator
New belts
New cylinder gaskets
New thermostats
New expansion tank
New spark plugs
2 x oil and filter changes
Transmission fluid flush.
Oil filter housing gasket.
4 x New Eagle F1 Asy 6 tyres only about 500 miles on them.
Roof motor relocated in boot by ZedShed.
It will come with 12 months mot at the advertised price.
Mileage is around 129850.
The M54 engine is a very sweet sounding engine. The baffle has been removed so the noise is addictive. Whether in normal mode or sport mode, the car comes alive when you press the throttle. It handles well too, no creaks or suspension issues, pulls nicely through the auto gearbox. The power is very easy to exploit from low down and it’s a cinch to control. This will make any driver look good on the road.
Always garaged when not in use.
Comes with:
heated leather seats
air conditioning,
decent Alpine unit with hands free Bluetooth connection
Cruise control
Sport mode
Reverse parking sensor
A couple of things let it down.
Firstly, the remote central locking is temperamental but the internal central locking button works. I think it may be the GM5 module as the windows and roof and all other electrics work fine. It still opens with the key. (However of all days, today it’s working fine )
Secondly the bodywork lets it down, there are scrapes around the front and rear bumpers and a 20p size dent on the corner of the rear passenger wing. The alloys could do with being refurbished as they are all pitted and peeling.
Why am I getting rid of it…..well my second car is an automatic. I’m personally not keen on the automatic in this car as it doesn’t thrill me as much as a I thought it would. Perhaps I’m just too old and my days of sports cars are over!!
This is priced accordingly at:
£1500
