Hi Z3 Forum members, It is with a heavy heart that I put my lovely Z3 up for sale, I searched long and hard before I found my 'Goldilocks' Z3 back in 2017. Genuine reason For Sale.
I will advertise it on the forum first for a week or so before expanding my search for a new owner to the other usual websites.
I think it's sensibly priced at £5995 having seen what other cars are up for sale for elsewhere.
Please feel free to contact me if you have an interest and have any questions etc...many more pictures available upon request. I can also offer FaceTime walk around too for genuinely interested parties.
EQUIPMENT
‘Sport Edition’ suspension, 17” BBS cross spoke alloys, Sport Edition honeycomb grill, electric sport heated leather seats, centre console in aluminium finish, 3 layer Dark Blue electric soft top hood, Air conditioning, BMW 6 disc auto changer with advanced loudspeaker air turbulence deflector, heated mirrors & washer jets, automatic stability traction control (ASC+T), ABS braking.
EXTERIOR
A very rare and desirable Sport Edition BMW Z3 finished in factory original Estoril Blue Metallic (code 335) which was an expensive option when new from the BMW Individual range hence it’s very rarely seen on a non M Z3 models. The stunning paint finish is well preserved throughout (with a few minor stone chips to bonnet). All body panels are straight and damage free. This wide bodied Z3 certainly commands attention wherever it ventures out of my garage and is every inch a special edition vehicle.
INTERIOR
The interior bares all the hallmarks of careful ownership - classic ‘Nappa’ black leather seats (code R7SW) in super condition. The M Sport leather steering wheel displays bright red/blue/green stitching and the matching door cards and carpets are also in great condition. The illuminated leather M Sport gear knob is pristine also.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with BMW’s legendary (M54) straight 6 cylinder 2.2 engine which produces 170bhp and 210 Nm torque at only 3500 rpm (0-62 mph in 7.9 seconds) with a claimed top speed of 139mph. The engine bay is spotless and still has all factory plates, stickers and usually lost PDI markings. The 5 speed short throw manual gearbox is light and precise to use. This stunning straight six Z3 drives as wonderful as its sounds!
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Standard Sport Edition BBS cross spoke 17” alloys (style 778) which are in very good condition with only very light scratches visible. Matching quality branded front tyres (225/45/ZR) with plenty of tread remaining and 2 x brand new Avon ZV7 rear tyres (245/40/ZR) just fitted. The original space saver spare wheel, tool-kit/jack, warning triangle look to be unused. New Front Brake Callipers + pads fitted less than 1k miles ago. This Z3 offers its driver superb grip and stopping power.
MAINTENANCE/HISTORY FILE
At 67K the car has averaged just under 3.5K PA and has a good service history + many supporting invoices/receipts. Previous MOT certificates going back to 2007 are also available providing further provenance. The car comes complete with the BMW Leather Handbook, stamped service book plus all supplement guides when issued from new. 2 working BMW keys + 3rd grey valet key. The V5C is registered in my name at my home address. 4 previous owners + myself as the 5th owner.
During my ownership (4 years) I have driven the car approx 3k miles - it only comes out of the garage on high days and bank holidays. I understand that was also the case with the previous owner too who owned the car from 2011 and subsequently is very clean underneath. ‘Skye’ as she has been affectionately been named by my family has been serviced twice during my tenure, I have also replaced the following items:
