Is there a how-to somewhere on how to remove the blown speaker? I have a history of destroying plastic factory connectors. clips etc. I just need to open the box without breaking anything. TIA

The top lid is held to the front by 2 clips the same as door card fixings and the rear is clipped in to a grove but is not to awkward to remove:thumbsup:

You're right- it was really pretty easy. I replaced the blown speaker with a Pyle PLPW6D dual voice coil speaker. It handles 600 watts RMS. Sound nice and the bass is clear and clean. Only $40
