Linda and myself took Bluebird away to Portesham in Dorset for as short break. It was strange trip weather wise, it was literally all or nothing with the fog. We got really lucky at Lulworth Cove, the fog disappearing as we dropped into the village, giving us bright sunshine and spectacular views. We went to Corfe Castle and could barely see it through the mist. A kind lady suggested a great vantage point for viewing Poole harbour, but we couldn't see more than 10 yards. In Poole itself, we stood on the harbourside but couldn't even see the boats in the water. Bluebird was spotless when we left Cardiff. I think we brought half of Dorset back with us. I have never seen the car so dirty.

You can just see the old church through the fog.

That's more like it. All ready for the next adventure.

Nice neck of the woods. Cleaning a dirty Zed is a good therapy ;)

Awesome pics Glad you gave your zed a good clean after

The first 2 pics are as different as chalk and cheese both in the weather and location. Glad you at least got some sun

You are spot on @S54addict, unfortunately the fog won hands down. Never mind, it gives us a reason to go back

@billz you are dead right, but that sums up the whole trip. We still enjoyed it anyway.
Anytime in the Zed is OK by me.

Bluebird was certainly minging after her trip, good to see her out and about:thumbsup:. Looking a lot better after a clean. Reminds me, must do mine;)

Thanks, nothing like dirty pics to break up a winter in Canada although we're in a rare for January heat stroke with temps over 15-20c above normal!! Glad you had a good time! JIM
