Looking for a rear silencer twin exit, OEM item in fair/good used condition. My car is a 2.8 on a 98 plate.

There are two systems on the 2.8. Is it single or twin as the rear boxes are different I believe.

I'm not sure there is a "back box" as a single item. They are usually "cat back" systems on pre facelift 2.8.
There are plenty of aftermarket exhausts available for Zeds

Not too hot on what fits what when it comes to exhaust systems. But I have a complete 2.2 system here if required.

This is what I have. Looks like the pipe may have been cut as well to take the aftermarket silencer. Advice would be most welcome!

That could be good. When you say flanged what do you mean? No one likes going in the garage roof space but if you don't mind checking (when you can) and can maybe get a pic we can work something out.

I love being in my garage roof space. It's boarded out and provides a nice bit of escapism although with no climate control it's too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. I just dress accordingly, speedos or thermals. I reckon one day if I want to hide from everyone I could get away with it for a few hours up there. No Z3 spares lurking there though...

The OP's exhaust is single and looks chopped at the back box. It will have been a one piece like mine. Depending where its cut exactly will mean it can be joined back if the original box replacing has enough pipe on it to create the joint.
i will get pictures of what i have tomorrow, the original boxes are huge though and very heavy indeed.
