That's an awful lot of money back in the day 
By July 1999 the 2.8 on road price had risen to £28,350.00 (1.8 was £19.995.00 and 2.0 was £22,995.00 and MR £40,600.00).
Largest cost options (on 2.8) were ac at £1100.00, auto at £1040.00 and hardtop at £1995.00.

Same car and same year as mine. I'll have 2 at that price!
I have pretty much every piece of paper to do with the car including service invoices etc, a massive file which I've added lots of receipts to!
That adds greatly to the car IMO, good stuff.

I have fair bit to but not the original sales invoice
I just happen to have my invoice, pricey for no air con, no heated seats and manual roof.

A great bit of car history, have good history with mine but not the original sales invoice.Was sold from a Bmw Dealers as a used car in 2003 to a 3rd owner seems to have had a few number plates in its time its all an interesting read.
