2.5 vs 3.0 intake question?

My local dinan dealer has a cold air intake that fits he 3.0. It is very well priced and I am wondering what is needed to fit it to the 2.5?

The part numbers are different, however in reviewing the parts, the major bits seem right. Does anyone know the differences? My guess is that the stock intake tube (to the TB) is bigger, so I think I could likely make it work easily.

Dan is this for the Z3 or Z4 engines?

Breaking down the part numbers on http://bmwfans.info the 2.5 and 3.0 use the same M54 engine - good start so far.

That is the one. Dinan used to make a different part number for the 2.5 that has since been discontinued. I believe it could be fitted.

For reference, I checked the AFE site, they offer 2 kits also- different part numbers. So there is some difference.
