Hi, My name is Nic Marsay and have just bought my first Z3. Its a 1.9 Litre 1999 Z3 with 25700 miles on the clock, hardly used and in immaculate condition. My wife and I plan to drive to Italy next year for 6 weeks so hopefully she will be unto the job.

Welcome.

Low milage. Should serve you well for many years. Enjoy.

But do be aware that there's a few age related things that you should consider replacing even though they look perfectly fine. For example plastic parts of the cooling system are prone to becoming brittle and crack under pressure. You really don't want something to pop when you're half way across europe.

:welcome: - have done the Italian lakes/ Swiss passes in our '98 1.9 - great fun driving. Luggage space can be the problem - we bought the BMW Roadster travel bags which are a tailored fit except for CD player if you have one.

A useful tip I found was to pack clothes into vacuum bags. Obviously consider how you could re-pack them for subsequent journeys if you do that! There are 12v or manual pumps available out there, or if you stay places where there is likely to be a vacuum cleaner available then it's easy peasy
