Please forgive me if this has been answered. I did a search and didn't find the answer. Does anyone know of a cat back system for the Z3 2.3 Roadster. It has the 2.5 from factory, don't really understand why BMW named the car a 2.3. But any rate, I'd like to increase performance a tad and retain my stock manifolds. Any advise or suggestions is appreciated.

I love my magnaflow, but looking at their offerings, they skip '99. I have no idea why.

I thought that the 2.5 was the same as a 2.8 and the 2.3 was the same as a 2.2.

It was the E46 323i engine - 2494cc but detuned from 193 to @171 bhp.

Pretty sure its an M52TUB25 in there.
if you can verify this it is the same that my E46-323 had and I managed to release 25hp out of that engine with simple cheap tricks. (Cat, exhaust, M50 headers, airbox) Pretty sure tha same tricks apply to the Z.
