Hi Z Roadster, I have been given this ebay address for a RHD exhuast header (almost impossible to find!) but it seems to be for a 328 and not a Z3. Does anybody know if it is reasonably possible to fit/modify to fit my RHD 1998 Z3 M52B28 ? Cheers for any comments... :D

Re: 1998 Z3 M52B28 Ehaust header for 328?

The steering shaft is in a slightly different place on a z3, when I did my headers the first set I tried could not be fitted due to the steering shaft been in the way, they where from a 328i. I eventually found another set locally that fitted, also from a 328i. It depends how the headers are made/bent if they will clear the shaft or not. I would be hesitant to buy a set off ebay unless they say they will fit a Z3 for sure, hope this helps.

No problem Peter, it's never easy as you say, well worth doing if you've changed the inlet manifold :D

Given up on the headers for the time being and the design on my stock headers seem quite good anyway...gone for a Magnaflow cat (direct fit) instead!

In the 1990's, I imported a Merc from Germany.
On the hard stamping under the bonnet there was no mention of it having a cat.
So I took it off...bhp went up and fuel consumption went down...who is kidding who??

MOT's were no problem, it sailed through
