They went rushin' down that freeway,
messed around and got lost
They didn't care they were just dyin' to get off
And it was life in the fast lane

Hello from Los Angeles!

Thanks Jack. Nice to meet you. I like your ride. I feel like the Z was designed for the Euro long horizontal license plate. I always feel it looks much better on the car than the American style.

I am celebratiing our American "Thanksgiving" tomorrow by firing up the Z and taking it to Malibu up California Highway 1. It will be a wonderful escape. I will post photos.

We have to have them on the front of our cars too but I think they spoil the look from a "head on" view.

That top down drive to Malibu sounds a great way to celebrate, there are a few on this forum, me included who would love to tag along on that one.

That's the way to celebrate Thanksgiving!
Enjoy the forum and the Zed, while you're located in a "Zed suitable area"!

Hi and welcome from mid Canada! Have had the pleasure of Hwy 1 right up the coast years ago! Stopped of in a little bar in Washington where they ran races on tricycles inside the bar! Would have loved to have seen all those students drinking and falling over as they had to chug a beer each lap and the winners kept going until they got beaten!! Enjoy your Thanksgiving and the drive, very envious!! JIM

Hi @Dan Austin please do, look forwards to seeing them. Happy holidays.:)

Tony.

ps. Welcome to the forum too, I sort of missed that bit. I hope to get over to your side of the USA after I get retired, we have a vacation home in Florida and intend to use that as a base to visit many other parts of your country.
