High spec example of the increasingly rare 2.8 Wide-Body Z3


This car is superb mechanically and drives fantastic. Everything works. However it requires various cosmetic TLC hence being offered without reserve.

Wheels would benefit from refurb, marks on the front and rear bumpers, rust on the front right wing and both rear quarters. Lots of stone chips on the bonnet.

Interior in great shape. Hood is immaculate apart from being a bit green but will clean up.


Mechanically completely sound, everything works as it should. Very nice to drive. 165k.


Please be fully aware of the extent of the cosmetic work needed and bid accordingly. If you want a clean example to use straight away then this isn't the car for you. However if you want an easy project to restore a rapidly appreciating modern classic then this could be for you!

£1,700. 2.8. 6 months MOT. Okay, 165k miles but where else are you going to find those thrills so cheap

Sounds like a great introduction to a 2.8. I would have had a potential buyer for it who builds kits cars and I send stuff their way. So bodywork not important. But I'm afraid too many miles when someone is investing £1,000s in a build.
